How it works: The Waring Pro Waffle Maker's rotating feature is the key to a thick, yet perfectly-done waffle. Just pour batter onto the bottom grids, close the top, and rotate 180 degrees. This rotation ensures that batter is in full contact not only with the bottom, but also with the top of the iron.
Three beeps will sound when your waffle is done. Tip: Stir your flour first to aerate it, since it settles when it sits. Then spoon it into the measuring cup, leveling off the top with the back of a knife – do not pack down into measuring cup. These steps will help you avoid "heavy waffles." And here's another idea: Baked waffles may be frozen! Just allow them to cool completely, then place in a plastic food storage bag. Use waxed or unbleached parchment paper to keep waffles separated. Reheat in an oven, toaster or toaster oven when ready to use.
