2+ peak horsepower motor is a power plant with the finesse you need to perfectly tailor the results of every kitchen task. Blade speed is infinitely variable from very slow up to a full 37,000 RPM's.
Capacity: The Vita-Mix Professional comes with a huge 64 ounce carafe. Its special tapered design lets you do amounts as small as you need, but when you want to do a full load of veggies, fruit, ice cream, or crushed ice, the Professional will hold it all in one batch — and it has the power to chop, grind, puree or liquefy those big batches. Yet it works equally well with quantities as small as 4 ounces.
Laser-Cut Blades: Laser-cut one piece stainless steel blade. Blade assembly of the Vita-Mix Professional Blender features ball bearings that outlast common bushings and are sealed to prevent food and liquid penetration.
