VacStrip™ Roll Plastic: Patented VacStrip™ precut roll plastic is unlike any other on the market. Other roll plastic made for external-vacuum sealing systems are made with "embossed" plastic, having ridges to allow air extraction during the sealing process. The VacStrip™ design features a third layer of "mesh" plastic fused to its interior along the center of one side (visible on the lower surface in the photo at left.) This allows the main sides to be made from smooth plastic, which is less expensive to manufacture than embossed plastic. The result is lower plastic cost for you, compared to competing brands. Yet performance is equal or better. VacStrip™ plastic is boilable, so you can toss sealed bag right into boiling water pot! VacStrip plastic is dual ply, heavy duty 3 mils thick and reusable.

| Note: Roll plastic is extremely versatile, letting you make bags of any length. The roll is essentially a long tube; to make bags from rolls, first cut the plastic to whatever length you want (a paper cutter or scissors work fine.) Then place one open end over the heat seal strip, close the lid, and press "Instant Seal," and press down firmly on the lid. This creates a bag by sealing one end. Then put your food in the bag, and follow the operating directions just as you would for a precut bag. |
