Pro 150 Vacuum Sealer: The Vac Pro 150 sealer's powerful dual-piston pump and patented seal bar technology combine to provide commercial-quality results in an external-vacuum sealing system. External-vacuum sealers work by laying a vacuum bag down (as in photo at left), with its open end in the machine's long, narrow vacuum chamber. A heat seal bar runs parallel to the vacuum chamber, along the side closest to the operator. The lid is then closed, air is extracted, then the seal bar seals the vacuumed bag.

Patented Seal Bar Design: With most other external-vacuum machines, interval time (how fast you can do your next bag) is severely limited by overheating of the heat bar. The majority of machines on the market will do only a few bags then have to sit and cool down for ten to twenty minutes before continuing; otherwise your bag will seal prematurely, before air is extracted. The Vac Pro 150 has a unique, patented mechanism that raises its extra wide, 12" heat bar against the bag only when it's time to seal the bag. By preventing premature plastic melting over the seal strip, this design ensures short interval times: You can get the most bags sealed in the least amount of time.

Powerful Dual Piston Pump: The Vac Pro 150 uses a dual piston pump to dramatically reduce cycle times. Exact air extraction time depends on the size of bag and the ratio of food to void area, but averages about 20 seconds, and is often as low as 10 seconds. This is 30% faster than single-pump designs. The power of the Vac Pro's pump ensures that the highest possible vacuum strength is achieved, leaving virtually no oxygen molecules to spoil the freshness of your food.

Full Custom Control: The Vac Pro 150 offers fully automatic operation — just push the lid down and the vac and seal cycle is completed with no further effort, leaving you to prep your next bag. The "Instant Seal" button lets you stop vacuuming and seal immediately at any point. And if you ever want to operate the controls manually, the Vac Pro gives you that option too.
