Torrey M12-FS Meat Grinder

Torrey M12-FS Meat Grinder: A very popular meat grinder with small shops and hunters, the Torrey M12-FS meat grinder offers commercial meat grinder construction and performance with a very affordable price tag. The Torrey M12-FS, like all of our Torrey meat grinders, has a sealed oil bath gear box with all steel gears for extreme durability.

Grinds Fast: #12 head & industrial 3/4 HP motor grinds 8 to 12 lbs./min. through 3/16" plate. Torrey M12-FS meat grinder has a 100% duty cycle for nonstop grinding. Its meat grinder plates are 2.75" diameter. Comes with 3/16" grinder plate. Feed throat is large 2-1/4" and the Torrey will really pull meat through -- no need to force meat down the throat as many inferior grinders demand.

Grinder Feed Tray: Extra large stainless steel meat tray is 2.5" x 12" x 20". This Torrey meat grinder has a full-width support cradle under the back end of the meat tray giving it outstanding stability -- unlike the flimsy trays on so many meat grinders.

Stainless/cast construction: Headstock and screw on the Torrey M12FS meat grinder are long-life tin-dipped cast iron. Housing and pan and are food-grade stainless steel.

Included with Torrey M12-FS meat grinder: 3/16" #12 plate (2.75" diameter), stainless steel knife, heavy duty stomper.

Certifications: The Torrey M12-FS meat grinder is UL listed and USDA and NSF approved.

Note: A knife and plate develop a mated wear pattern as they operate together (same as a piston in an engine cylinder sleeve), so it's important to always keep them together as a set. When you reverse the plate to use the new side, use a new knife. Using an unmatched knife/plate set will cause bad performance, rapid wear and possibly breakage. So you will normally want to have two blades for every plate. Stainless and carbide knives work the same except carbide will wear longer. Both are resharpenable.

Optional Foot Switch
Heavy Duty 110V Foot Switch: This foot switch can be used to turn your meat grinder (or other machines) on & off, allowing operator free use of hands. Especially useful when stuffing sausage. Ruggedly constructed for long life with full steel housing, nonskid base pad, and textured traction pad. Comes with 8' cord and 3 prong series-plug, prewired. Just plug it in and go (the plug on the end of the footswitch's cord is inserted into 110 volt wall receptacle, then the meat grinder plug is piggybacked into the footswitch plug. So no wiring is required.) Switch is momentary type, meaning that power is supplied to meat grinder cord while pedal is held down and power is cut off when pedal is released. Rated 15 amps maximum. Dimensions: 4.3L" x 3.5W" x 1.4"H. Wt. 1.7 lbs. This switch has proven its durability with years of trouble-free service.
