Continuous operation: Built for serious use, the Tilia Gamesaver Silver Foodsaver will run continuously without overheating, unlike almost all other vacs, which have to cool for 20-30 minutes after sealing only 10 or 15 bags. Continuous-duty operation is an important feature in a food vacuum, enabling you to quickly seal large batches of meat or produce that you've brought home from the store or harvested from your garden.
The Tilia Silver also develops an extremely powerful level of vacuum for the best freshness preservation, and a built-in cutter for roll plastic speeds operation.
The Tilia FoodSaver seals food in bags, rolls (to make your own bags of any length) or canisters. Plus, universal lids fit your jars or cans up to 5.5" diameter, and the optional jar sealer (see accessories below) easily seals Mason jars for economical storage using standard Mason lids. Small mouth bottles are sealed quickly using bottle stoppers. The Tilia's bags (both precuts and from rolls) are reusable and resealable, they can be boiled or microwaved, and they're dishwasher safe.
Household or mobile operation: The Tilia Silver runs off either 120V power in your home, OR 12V current directly from your car, truck or boat. It's equally at home in your kitchen, or traveling with you on a hunting or fishing trip. DC power cord is a generous 15' long.
Option to "seal-only": The Tilia FoodSaver can also be used to seal bags closed without extracting the air, if you wish. Even bags that are larger than the 11" heat sealing bar can be sealed, by making multiple adjacent seals.
Dimensions: 21.75"L x 8.5"D x 3.5"H, weight 13 lbs. Unit can be stored horizontally or vertically for convenient space-saving storage, and includes built-in cord wrap and accessory compartment.
