Thunderbird 500E: Thunderbird, a respected name in midsize meat grinders, builds high performance machines that perform well and stand up to steady use. Thunderbird grinders come with a manufacturer's 500 day parts/180 days labor guarantee for commercial or home use.

Grinds Fast: #32 head and industrial 2 HP motor grinds 40-50 lbs./min. through 3/16" plate. Thunderbird TB-500E meat grinder has a 100% duty cycle for nonstop productivity. Includes 1/4" and 3/16" plates. Feed throat is 3-1/8". Sausage stuffing tube included.
Stainless construction: Meat tray, headstock, feed screw, headstock ring and plate are food-grade stainless steel. Meat tray measures 14" x 28". Motor cabinet is painted mild steel.

Certifications: The Thunderbird TB-500E meat grinder is UL listed. NSF certification is pending.

Current: 220 Volt, 6 Amp, 60 Hz, 1-Phase. Power cord is supplied. (User supplies cable end plug to fit your receptacle. This requires electrical wiring skills.)

Note: A knife and plate develop a mated wear pattern as they operate together (same as a piston in an engine cylinder sleeve), so it's important to always keep them together as a set. When you reverse the plate to use the new side, use a new knife. Using an unmatched knife/plate set will cause bad performance, rapid wear and possibly breakage. So you will normally want to have two blades for every plate.

Heavy Duty 220v Foot Switch: This foot switch can be used to turn on/off any of our 220 volt meat grinders, including the Thunderbird 500E allowing operator free use of hands. Especially useful when stuffing sausage. Ruggedly built for long life with cast iron housing, nonskid base pad and molded nylon actuating cam. This foot switch is NOT PREWIRED, and installation requires electrical wiring skills. Switch is momentary type, meaning that, when properly wired, power is supplied to meat grinder while pedal is held down and power is cut off when pedal is released. Rated 20 amps. Dimensions: 9"L x 5.75W" x 4.75H". Wt. 8 lbs. Proven durable over years of use. This foot switch has integral cover (To control 110V grinders, see Model 632 foot switch listed above.)
