Thunderbird 400E: Thunderbird, a respected name in midsize meat grinders, builds high performance machines that perform well and stand up to steady use. Thunderbird grinders come with a manufacturer's 500 day parts/180 days labor guarantee for commercial or home use.

Grinds Fast: #22 head and industrial 1-1/4 HP motor grinds 18-20 lbs./min. through 3/16" plate. Thunderbird 400E meat grinder has a 100% duty cycle for nonstop productivity. Includes 1/4" and 3/16" plates. Feed throat is 2-1/2". Sausage stuffing tube included, 1" diameter.

Stainless construction: Meat tray, headstock, feed screw, headstock ring and plate are food-grade stainless steel. Meat tray measures 11" x 15".

Certifications: The Thunderbird 400E meat grinder is UL listed and NSF certified.

Current: 110 volt, 50 or 60 Hz, 12 amps, single phase.

Note: A knife and plate develop a mated wear pattern as they operate together (same as a piston in an engine cylinder sleeve), so it's important to always keep them together as a set. When you reverse the plate to use the new side, use a new knife. Using an unmatched knife/plate set will cause bad performance, rapid wear and possibly breakage. So you will normally want to have two blades for every plate.

Heavy Duty 110V Foot Switch: This foot switch can be used to turn the Thunderbird 400E grinder on/off, allowing operator free use of hands. Especially useful when stuffing sausage. Ruggedly constructed for long life with full cast iron housing, nonskid base pad and molded nylon actuating cam. Comes with 6' cord and 3 prong series-plug, prewired. Just plug it in and go (the plug on the end of the footswitch's cord is inserted into 110 volt wall receptacle, then the Thunderbird grinder plug is piggybacked into the footswitch plug. So no wiring is required.) Switch is momentary type, meaning that power is supplied to meat grinder cord while pedal is held down and power is cut off when pedal is released. Rated 15 amps maximum. Dimensions: 4.5L" x 3.5W" x 1.5"H. Wt. 2.25 lbs. This switch has proven its durability with years of trouble-free service.
