Bosch mixers have a worldwide reputation for outstanding durability and break very rarely. But if you ever do need help, we're here to support you.

The first illustration below shows both bowl replacement packs and individual replacement parts for the Bosch mixer bowl.

The bowl replacement packs will fit on some, but not all, past Universal Bosch mixer models. To determine if one will fit on your Universal, look at the model number on the bottom of your Universal drive base. If the characters "UM6" or "UM3" appear in your model number, then the replacement bowl packs will fit.

The individual plastic replacement parts shown will fit only the newest model of bowl that has been in production for several years. To identify which type of bowl your mixer has, look at the tabs that lock the splash ring to the bowl... if the tabs are on the outside of the bowl, you have the old style bowl. If the tabs are on the inside of the bowl, you have the new style bowl.

Parts are no longer available for the old style Universal Bosch mixer bowl. If you want to replace old style bowl parts, you will need one of the bowl packs below. The dough hook from your old style bowl WILL fit the new bowl, so if your old dough hook is okay, you don't have to replace it... you can just get item MUZ6KR4. Your old drive shaft, old whips, and old whip-drive also will work with the new bowl.

UNBA2	Bowl with Spur Gear and Shaft Assembled. If your Universal needs a new bowl, this assembly will save you the job of dissassembly/reassembly, which can be difficult if your screws, esp. the spur gear screws, have corroded. This assembly contains no lid, no splash ring, no whips, no whip drive, and no dough hook. Also note that if your spur gear has no visible slot for the drive shaft cross pin to slide through (some have a slot, some don't), then the cross pin must be hammered out with a punch and replaced with new pin in order to replace either drive shaft or spur gear. The UNBA2 will save you all that trouble.
UNBA1	Bowl Shell with Spur Gear installed only. (Please see note #1 below.) Also, if your spur gear has no visible slot for the drive shaft cross pin to slide through (some have a slot, some don't), then the cross pin must be hammered out with a punch and replaced with new pin in order to replace either drive shaft or spur gear. Rather than try to re-use your drive shaft assembly, you may want to order #UNBA2 above for effortless replacement.

Note #1: Please note that to disassemble the spur gear (see image above) from the bowl shell requires removal of screws at the top/inside of the bowl column. Over the years Bosch has used more than one type of screw head in this spot. We have no way to know which type of screws your bowl might have, and to remove them you will need a screwdriver with long shaft and the proper sort of tip. Removal can be further complicated by corrosion of screw heads and threads. For these reasons, we highly recommend buying #UNBA2 if you want bowl shell and spur gear plus drive shaft assembly, all ready to use.

Blender drive coupling: $ This is the white plastic part on the underside of the blender. In use, it connects to the High Speed Drive.
High Speed Drive: $ (This is the piece that drives the blender. It's pictured below, both on and off the mixer. Your old one can be pulled off with a pliers, and the new one will press onto the shaft by hand. Be sure to align the flat parts of the socket with the flat parts of the shaft, and push hard so it goes on all the way.)
