Stainless construction: Headstock, screw, grinder plates, blade, meat tray and enclosure are stainless steel for long life and easy maintenance. Stainless steel motor enclosure features a sturdy, comfortable carrying handle.

All Steel Gear Drive: Gear drive (with all steel gears and roller bearings) means there's no belt to wear, slip or break, and no plastic gears to fail. LEM meat grinders have permanently lubricated motors and gearboxes for smooth, quiet, long lasting opertion. Built-in circuit breaker protects motor from overload. The construction of the LEM line of meat grinders sets them head and shoulders above every other grinder in their price range.

Note: A knife and plate develop a mated wear pattern as they operate together (same as a piston in an engine cylinder sleeve), so it's important to always keep them together as a set. When you reverse the plate to start using the new side, you should use a new knife. Using an unmatched knife/plate set will cause bad performance, rapid wear and possibly breakage. So you will normally want to have two blades for every plate.

Heavy Duty 110V Foot Switch: This foot switch can be used to turn the LEM grinder on/off, allowing operator free use of hands. Especially useful when stuffing sausage. Ruggedly constructed for long life with full cast iron housing, nonskid base pad and molded nylon actuating cam. Comes with 6' cord and 3 prong series-plug, prewired. Just plug it in and go (the plug on the end of the footswitch's cord is inserted into 110 volt wall receptacle, then the LEM grinder plug is piggybacked into the footswitch plug. So no wiring is required.) Switch is momentary type, meaning that power is supplied to meat grinder cord while pedal is held down and power is cut off when pedal is released. Rated 15 amps maximum. Dimensions: 4.5L" x 3.5W" x 1.5"H. Wt. 2.25 lbs. This switch has proven its durability with years of trouble-free service.
