Pleasant Hill Grain does not currently sell grain online. Many of our kitchen equipment customers across the country find that local food buying co-ops are the best way to get quality grains at good prices with economical delivery. In some cities you'll find one or more storefront co-ops, but most co-ops are buying clubs -- groups of friends who meet periodically in someone's home, church, etc., to organize orders and break down deliveries. If you ask around, you might find one to join in your area; if you do, we hope you'll pass our Web address around! An online directory of some (not all) co-ops is here. If you can't find a co-op, you and some friends could start one, and these next links will give you a jump-start on the project. Click here for a list of distributors (including cooperative warehouses) your local buying club could order from. One supplier to buying clubs that we're familiar with is Blooming Prarie; they have a page to request information on starting a buying club (or locating one which purchases through them), here. Co-op distributors offer a wide array of foods (some will deliver frozen foods) and are an excellent way to get organic or chemical-free foods that aren't always available in local stores. |
