The Verona® Assistent Mixer by Electrolux
(Former name: The Electrolux Magic Mill Assistent)
Latest Model N30: Outstanding Capacity, Performance & Value
|
The Verona® Assistent™ by Electrolux has been a Swedish secret for more than 50 years. An exceptional all-around mixer, its exceptional strength also makes it a world-class dough mixer. Tthe Electrolux/Verona Assistent has an impeccable reputation for long term reliability and quality results whether you're mixing a cake, whipping a meringue, or baking ten loaves of fresh, light, scrumptious bread. The best Assistent ever, the N30 belt-drive mixer is a standout machine with great capabilities. (Now designated "Verona", this newest model of the Assisent was known for years by the name Electrolux Assistent DLX Mixer, or the Magic Mill Mixer.)
The
Verona/Electrolux Assistent mixer creates smooth, silky, elastic dough quickly
and easily with its unique roller and scraper design. This method effectively
mimics kneading by hand, but without the time and effort. As the stainless bowl
revolves, the deeply fluted roller of the Veraona/Electrolux Assistent acts as your
fingers, with the scraper mimicking the palm of your hand. The scraper
folds the dough with a rhythmic motion while the roller provides a powerful
massaging action. Dough comes out smooth and elastic, in large or small
batches. Any speed from 40 to 140 RPM can be selected, and an electronic
speed sensor automatically adjusts motor torque to the load. A timer is
standard equipment, so the Assistent will do its work while you do other tasks,
stopping just when you want it to. The control panel is angled for comfortable
use, and the large timer and speed controls are attractive and
very easy to read. Included with your mixer is a new instructional DVD to help you get you off to a fast start.
The
large 8 quart stainless steel bowl of the Assistent holds up to 28
cups of flour (7 lbs.), to make approximately 15 lbs. of bread dough
(7-10 loaves). The efficient, high-torque 600 watt motor runs smoothly
and quietly; coupled with an advanced transmission design, it provides
ample power to mix and knead even the largest batch of heavy bread dough
without straining. The Electrolux Mixer got its nickname, "The
Workhorse Mixer" not by its manufacturer Electrolux, but by users
who praise this powerful kitchen helper that's such a pleasure to use.
The
Verona/Electrolux's large stainless steel bowl can mix up to 18 eggs in one batter.
You can also cream butter, margarine and shortening with sugar to the
creamiest texture for all your cookie needs.
The
whisk beater bowl (the white bowl shown below) will create beautiful
meringues as well as beat up to 18 egg whites with excellent results.
When white bowl is used, it is stationary (unlike the stainless bowl,
which turns during use), and the whisks drive from below via a center
column in the bowl (the white bowl is shaped something like a bundt cake.)
This arrangement provides total access to the top of the bowl, with no
overhead motor drive in the way. The beater bowl is sold separately by
Electrolux, but we include it with your mixer at no additional charge. When mixing with either this bowl or the stainless bowl, the only metal in contact with your food is food-grade stainless steel.
The
Verona/Magic Mill DLX Assistent, with its dimensions of 13.5"H x 10.5"W
x 15.7"D, weighs only 19 lbs. with stainless bowl and sits firmly
on solid rubber feet. The entire motor enclosure is made of metal, and is available in your choice of attractive finishes. The Verona/Electrolux mixer now comes with a two year manufacturer's parts & labor warranty.
The
biggest difference between dense, heavy baked goods and the delightfully
textured creations you want to serve and enjoy is proper development of the gluten
in the dough. The Verona Assistent from Electrolux is unexcelled in its ability to turn out
fantastic dough; with the array of available accessories displayed below,
it offers to add a myriad of exciting dimensions to your cooking experience.
This outstanding machine is a lifetime investment, one
you'll be glad you made for years to come.

You've so revolutionized our kitchen... The biggest difference is in the grain we're using. My wife Kate now grinds all our wheat for everything. Last week she made some cranberry pecan scones with fresh-ground wheat and I nearly killed myself eating them. I cannot believe the difference fresh-ground grain has made in our lives and how easy it is to do. Grinding our own wheat and making our own bread really takes no more effort than going to the grocery store. Plus, we now feel good about feeding our children many of the items we used to feel guilty about. Thanks so much for helping us get started... Again, thank you for your incredible service, it’s very rare today. – Bart McSpadden, Edmond OK

I ordered a DLX Assistent from you three weeks ago and immediately began using it to make many loaves of bread. The first weekend I made over fifty artisanal loaves of various types, and they all turned out great. Not only that, the work was so very much easier than with my Kitchen Aid mixer. This morning I just mixed up a batch of ciabatta. I've never seen such creamy, glistening, super elastic dough in my life, and the ciabatta turned out fabulous! The DLX ran for over fifteen minutes at medium high and high speed and didn’t break a sweat. It's fantastic. I might add that the machine is very easy both to use and to clean. I also want to say what a delight it was to place an order with your company. The salesperson was very helpful, answering every question thoroughly. Service was prompt, friendly, and very efficient. You can be sure I will continue to do business with you. Thanks for being a great company and for carrying such a fantastic mixer. – Jackie Greenfield, Redding CT |
Barb helped me with my order. She was so knowledgeable and helpful, I really appreciated her input. I decided on an Electrolux DLX. She said it would be here on a Thursday or Friday and I got it on Wednesday! Great! It is a wonderful machine. So far I've made bread and cookies. It's so easy to clean, and quiet!. I had to use ear plugs with my other machines. Thanks again for your excellent service and products. – Carol, TN |
