I’ve
put my new American Harvest GardenMaster through its paces this
summer, and it’s come out shining! It dries fast, even and
thoroughly. The mesh screens work great, even with sticky tomatoes.
We discovered a new technique this year for making canned spaghetti
sauce. We dried about half of the tomatoes partway, using fresh
tomatoes for the remainder. It cut way down on the cooking time
needed to thicken it up, and resulted in a much thicker, tomato-rich
sauce. It also saved on energy used for cooking. We’ve been
canning our own sauce for over 25 years, and this is the best we’ve
