Slicing Guide & Bread Keeper: Produces perfect slices, 9/16" thick. Includes a removable end piece that aids slicing when loaf is short. Keeper measures 6.5" x 6.5" x 11" long. Slicing guide accepts a loaf up to 5.25" wide (or wider if you squeeze it in a little) and slots are 5.25" tall (but you can slice a taller loaf by angling knife a bit at the start.) Slicing guide easily removes from keeper for use, and can be used with or without the keeper box. Everything nests to a compact cube shape for storage.

Includes a removable end piece (not shown) that aids slicing when loaf is short. Overall size is 7"D x 6.6"H x 12.5"W. Accomodates a loaf up to 6.5" wide. Due to this slicing guide's width, your bread knife should have a blade 9.5" or longer, otherwise your maximum slicing stroke will be too short and the knife tip will tend to slip out of the far-side guide... and that's aggravating!
