| Image Above: Your Bosch Food Procesor has a safety feature that prevents any painful "processing" of your fingers. It prevents the processor from being mounted onto the mixer base unit until the processor's lid is put on and rotated fully into place. The photo above shows the lid on the bowl, but please note the safety-activating tab indicated by the arrow. In this photo the lid has not yet been rotated fully into place. Image below shows the lockout plunger that needs to be retracted before the unit can be mounted. |
Image Above: In the photo above, you can see that the lid has been rotated so that the safety-activating tab is inside the handle. The image below shows how this pulls the lockout plunger away from the drive coupler, enabling the Food Processor to be mounted easily on the mixer base.
