At one time, none of these items could be purchsed by residents of California—so progress has been made regarding California's regulations. Other Berkey systems still cannot be shipped to California. However, we can ship those units to 48 other states, and there are NO restrictions on the actual use of any Berkey system by our many friends who reside in California. And if you know someone who's going by our Hampton, Nebraska location, just three minutes off Interstate 80, California residents may purchase any Berkey system on-site.

Berkey Systems to Iowa
Berkey purifier systems (and component parts) are not available for sale to Iowa. The manufacturer deems certification requirements in Iowa to be so costly and burdensome that meeting them is unworkable.

We're as frustrated as you are about this situation. Remedies are being sought but will, at best, take time. Testing by independent laboratories (as well as hundreds of thousands of highly satisfied users) has established that Berkey systems provide superior purification and superior water.

Good in 48 states and countless countries... If you live in Iowa, Berkey purifiers cannot be shipped to you. We can take orders for anyone in any of the other 48 states, Puerto Rico, Guam, and a gazillion other places, and there are NO restrictions on the actual use of any Berkey system by Iowans. Pleasant Hill Grain is located just minutes off Interstate 80, a little less than two hours west of Omaha—and Iowa residents may purchase any Berkey system on-site.
