Berkey purifier systems (and component parts) are not available for sale to California or Iowa. The manufacturer deems certification requirements in those states to be so costly and/or burdensome that meeting them is unworkable.
We're as frustrated as you are about this situation. Remedies are being sought but will, at best, take time. Testing by independent laboratories (as well as hundreds of thousands of highly satisfied users) has established that Berkey systems provide superior purification and superior water.
Good in 48 states and countless countries... If you live in California or Iowa, units cannot be shipped from us to you. We can take orders for anyone in any of the other 48 states, Puerto Rico, Guam, and a gazillion other places.
