Back To Basics Meat Grinder: The Back To Basics grinder will grind meat, vegetables and nuts. It comes with three plates: 3/16", 1/4" and 3/8", for fine, medium and coarse grinding. (Most grinders include only one or two plates.) Throat size is 1-3/4". Plate diameter is 2-1/8". Grinding Speed: We timed this grinder at 10 lbs. of beef in 10 minutes. The manufacturer rates it at 800 watts; we don't know how they arrived at that number -- we'd say it performs like a good 200 watt grinder. Can be run continuously. Motor has built-in circuit breaker. Ready for Sausage Stuffing: Three stuffing tubes are included, with 1/2", 3/4" and 7/8" tip diameters.
