Pressure regulator valve: One of our favorite things about BRK is the continuously-adjustable pressure regulating valve. This unique valve automatically maintains the pressure you choose, then allows you to change that pressure setting at any time during the cooking process. One-handed lid: BRK is the only pressure cooking system in the world with a patented lid that can be operated with just one hand. There are no lid-to-pot arrows to line up—just squeeze the top handle, press the lid down, release, and the lid clamps positively in place. It's fast, easy and secure.
Multi-ply conductive base: An alloy heat-conducting disk sealed into the stainless steel base of every pot spreads heat uniformly. You can brown meats before finishing with pressure, and the even heating you get with the BRK base provides consistent results. BRK pressure cookers work with all types of cook tops, too: electric, gas, ceramic or induction.
